How To Make Handmade Cleavage Bra Style Backless

Posted on February 14, 2012 by

I got my new fabric from my mom so I decided to experiment again. If you observe I like backless simply because they can make you look sexy and they are also easy to do. I am gonna show you now on how to make handmade cleavage bra style backless today.

Now, let’s start the things you need:

Stretchable flowing fabric
Scissor
Thread (Near color to your fabric)
Measuring Tape
Iron Circle for blouse
Pencil

I used blue here because I do not have black anymore.

Before you start creating your very own handmade cleavage bra style backless.

The first thing you need to do is to measure your self.
From underarm to waistline (A) and then measure half of your whole waistline (B). Look at the picture below:

and then cut it like the picture below:

After cutting, put the iron circle for blouse in the middle of the fabric and then set it aside first.

For the string, you need to cut 2. The length depends on the long you want it to be. In my case, the length is 15 and the width is 2.

You need to stitch the back of the fabric like this:

After that, it should look like this: (Use the pencil to show the front of the fabric)

Now, on the end of the fabric sew the iron circle

Then measure from the end of the fabric until you reach the length of 6. You can now sew another iron circle and then on the other side sew the string. It should like this:

After that cut a small fabric. In my case again, the length is 3 and the width is 2.

And then sew the small fabric to the iron circle that shows the thread.

Once done, it should look like this:

Remember to do the same on the other side of the fabric. Now, it is time for you to see the finished project. Check out the front view:

The process kinda look easy, but I doubt if I can make one as I am all thumbs. I’ve always admired women who can sew, great job Paige! I think we’ve kinda met at the Soyami event last Jan. :)

  2. Oh wow! This is so amazing! We have a sewing machine here at home and our mom’s good at sewing, but we somehow didn’t get the talent from her. How we wish we could do this, too.. it looks sexy!

    Hopping here from Pinoy Bloggers.
